The ac relay on a 2014 Nissan Rogue is located in IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room). This is the square top black box in the engine compartment near the driver-side fender. It is directly BEHIND and next to another fuse/relay box which is between the battery and fender. This OTHER fuse/relay box does have relays for the cooling fans etc. The IPDM E/R has MANY wiring connections and controls and can NOT be easily opened and checked. I have read on other posts that the entire IPDM must be replaced and NOT Serviced. Another important relay for the A/C system is Accessory Relay-2 which is located inside on the driver's side dash NOT ON but just above fuse box J/B. Accessory Relay-1 "IS" mounted on the backside of fuse box J/B. These two relays should be accessible and replaceable.

When replacing it, although not necessary to remove, it will be a lot easier with the accelerator and brake pedals removed. First thing You'll need to do is remove the lower kick panel below the steering wheel. There is one screw that holds it in and then several clips. Once this is done on both the pedals and set them out of Your way if You look just to the right of the gas pedal You will see the electrical connector going to the resistor. Unplug it and then remove the two screws one on top and the one on the bottom.
